●  Our approach · the documentary way Very little staging, a great deal of attention

Real life first. Form second.

you have nothing to act You are not the actors of your film. You are the people in it.

What we prefer

Our artistic work lies in the way we look, frame, listen and build the story. Not in transforming your personality.

● Before the wedding

We don't want to discover your story on the morning of your wedding. The better we know it, the more we recognise the important moments when they happen.

  • how you met;
  • the people who built your story;
  • the absences that might be felt;
  • the moments you look forward to, and those you dread;
  • what you would like to find in your film in twenty years.

This preparation isn't about writing a script. It allows us not to impose one.

● The wedding day

Discreet in the moments that belong to you. Present in those where you need us.

We know who to turn the camera towards during a speech. We understand the weight of a glance. We anticipate moments rather than provoke them. And when the unexpected shakes up the day, we remain two people you can turn to.

Sound as memory

A voice is a presence. Years from now, an image will remind you of what someone looked like ; their voice will give you the feeling of finding them again. Speeches, vows, laughter and the atmosphere of a place are not decoration : they are one of the main materials of the story.

Colours made to travel through time

We don't reproduce the visual trends of the moment : a fashion dates a film within a few years. Natural colours, faithful skin tones, respected light. Timelessness doesn't mean an absence of style : it means style stays in the service of the story.

Building the story

After the wedding, we select, organise and connect the images, the speeches, the sounds and the emotions. Every shot has to serve the story : a beautiful shot that doesn't help it is cut. This is where two ways of seeing become a single film.

A film made to be passed on

Your film is made to be watched when you return from your honeymoon, then rediscovered in ten or twenty years, shown to your children, shared with the people who were there and with those not yet born. It is a living family record.

Three questions we are often asked

What is a documentary wedding film ?

A film built from what really happens, with no re-enacted scenes and no gestures requested for the camera. You live your day ; the story is then built in the edit, from the real images, voices and emotions.

Why choose two videographers ?

Because a wedding very often unfolds in two places at once. During the preparations, Lucile is with the bride while Kylian films the groom, the guests and the venue from the air. During the ceremony, the same scene is filmed from two angles at once. We film you, and at the same time your guests, your venue and every detail that dresses it. And with us, these two ways of seeing belong to a couple.

What is the difference between a wedding video or highlight clip and a documentary wedding film ?

A wedding video or highlight clip is beautiful footage cut to music. We don't only make beautiful footage : we put in the voices, the speeches, the important moments, with an essential place given to sound. A documentary film builds a true story from the speeches, the interviews and the bonds between people, so that it still moves you in ten or twenty years.
