Aperol Spritz
« Let's stuff ourselves with love, spritz and saucisson until it kills us, but as late as possible. »
Heard in the film
Émy is a wedding photographer. When a photographer chooses who will film her own wedding, that is a trust you can’t make up. Ben, for his part, had his confidence from the very first moments of the preparations, tossing at Lucile between two shots: « I’m used to it, I work with a photographer. I know how it goes. I’m waiting for you. » The tone of the day was set.
Émy knew the venue by heart: Domaine de Bré, in Seiches-sur-le-Loir, where she had worked. Getting married in a place that was already part of her story was self-evident.
There is a story in this film that we adore. For years, Ben had Émy believe that his vows were hidden in a book from their bookshelves. She searched the shelves, for a long time, and never found anything. He finally admitted there was nothing there. The real vows had been in the making from the very start, and they were worth the wait.
Their day is just like them: the clan above all, Yaëlle and Élie at the microphone with words that made everyone cry, and in the evening, pizza and spritz for the whole table. Ben’s promise sums up the film better than we can: « Let’s stuff ourselves with love, spritz and saucisson until it kills us, but as late as possible. »
Theirs, by the way, are the voices you hear on our home page: they are the ones talking about the interview session.
Our angle
A wedding that doesn't take itself seriously and loves for real. We filmed the clan, the fits of laughter, and vows that had been years in the making.
We accompany fifteen stories a year, in France and around the world. We work in English.
